COVID-19 - Latest Update

At the present time the infection and death rate have dropped significantly and it does appear that the government are opening the UK for business once again.  Throughout this period we have continued to provide online delivery and no-contact collections from our base in Stanford Le Hope, Essex.  Although our home-shop is currently closed to the general public to visit, we are still operating no-contact collections and providing our 48 hour delivery service nationwide across the UK as usual.

Our staff are still sanitising their hands between parcels as well as a clean-down procedure at the end of each shift to keep the workplace hygienic and COVID-free.

The only issue we have at the moment are stock levels.  This is a combination of higher demand than usual, but more down to unexpected delays to stock coming in from Spain.  As many understand, Spain has also been affected by COVID meaning manufacturers are running on less staff, as well as our supply chain couriers also running on less staff too.  This has lead to an increase lead time to stock being delivered to us, but please be patient we have stock arriving very soon.

At Lemon Fresh UK Ltd we are concerned about the fast pace rise of COVID-19 across the United Kingdom, Spain and the rest of the world.  We are following guidance from Public Health England as well as the UK government to ensure that the priority of safeguarding customers health and safety is kept paramount.

We will be continuing to provide the same online service and have extra precautions in place for our staff.  Particularly our staff are washing their hands or sanitizing their hands between each parcel that is packed.  Additionally, we are doing daily deep cleans of the packing area.  DHL as far as we aware are still operating and collecting our parcels on a daily basis, so we do not anticipate any delay in delivering your parcel(s), however please bear in mind in some areas couriers may be operating on a skeleton staff basis so there may be a delay. 

We still welcome collections from our address in Stanford Le Hope in Essex if you prefer, however we are providing a no-contact collection service.  When you arrive to our premises, please call 01375 408979 and let us know who you are and that you are outside.  We will open the door and leave your parcel on the doorstep allowing you to come and collect without breaking social distancing rules.

Many people are asking if we are going to have trouble getting products from Spain to the UK.  We have a fantastic relationship with the manufacturers in Spain and have a reliable trade network so constant regular deliveries to us should not be a problem.  However, with Spain having a severe rise in Corona virus in their country, and unprecedented demand for disinfectants, floor cleaners etc, it would be possible for the manufacturers to shut their warehouses for a short period in order to obtain raw ingredients to continue production.  Therefore, at Lemon Fresh UK Ltd we are not declaring everything will be fine, but are reporting that 'at the moment' things are still moving fine in the supply chain for us. 

Many customers have asked if we will be raising our prices.  Because of the model we work prices do fluctuate and we have a small margin in place to allow for small fluctuations, such as stock manufacturing price, or changes in the EURO to GBP rate.  At this time the world is going through a severe economic shock which is having a sporadic change in the currency conversions.  At this time we can announce no price increases.  This will be reviewed periodically, especially if financial markets shift and we are forced to re-price stock.  We always aim to offer outstanding value for money and if we are forced to increase prices we want you to know this is because we have to and not because we want to.
